Rough synopsis: When detective Harry Goodman goes missing, his partner -- an adorable, talking Pikachu -- aids Harry's son Tim in finding him.
Ryan Renolds playing a Pikachu with a hat... I mean, come on, that's something we've been waiting for for a long time.
To me, this felt like a decent movie-- it was full of emotion, full of humor, and most of all-- full of Pokemon. If you keep up with Pokemon, especially the classics, you'll recognise quite a lot of the Pokemon in here, as well as the references the movie makes to the original series.
However, the story wasn't quite was interesting as I had hoped. I understood the story, but it wasn't half as interesting as seeing all the Pokemon. Still, I feel like this movie is worth the watch, especially if you're a Pokemon fan. So go check it out!
